How does gender inequality impact Vietnam (i.e. the economy, GBV, government resource toward military vs public good, etc)?
Is there an effort (organizations, activists, etc) in Vietnam to address gender inequality?
Project Description:
Identify a barrier to gender equality in Vietnam and produce a brief (1 - 3 pages) proposal to the Vietnamese government to help overcome this challenge to create better gender equality in the country.
Project Instructions:
Identify a barrier to gender equality in Vietnam.
Brainstorm solutions to this barrier that the government could implement.
Examples could include changing policies, laws, providing funding for certain initiatives, etc.
Identify the most important information to include in the proposal.
Elements could include the problem, your suggested resolution, why it is a good idea, etc.
Produce a draft proposal and submit for feedback.
Incorporate the feedback and submit the final proposal.
Upload the proposal.

Contact an NGO and share your proposal. Ask their recommendations for how the government could help overcome the challenge outlined in the brief and how you can contribute to overcoming the challenge.
