WHY WE DO IT?
To ensure the community we live in is safe place for both humans and animals.
HOW WE DO IT?
We are located in Vietnam and are a 100% volunteer organisation. We work with reputable vet clinics for treatment and have a successful adoption program.
Our 3-year goal
To build and operate a purpose-built shelter and education centre that can hold up to 80 dogs, funded by partnerships with individuals and businesses.
OUR MISSION
ReThink Plastic Vietnam will be part of a long term solution by inspiring and engaging all stakeholders to take actions in their homes, companies and communities.
Vietnam is 1 of the 5 countries responsible for 60% of the plastic pollution in our oceans.
ReThink Plastic Vietnam is a community-led organisation aiming to create awareness and connect stakeholders from business, community, knowledge centres and government around the global plastic pollution problem which is heavily affecting Vietnam, its rivers, coastline and ocean.
Connecting 5 key stakeholders
There are so many great initiatives happening at all levels. academia does research, the government makes policies, businesses 'want to do something with plastic’, great social enterprises that offer concrete solutions and community that becomes more and more aware.
Together, we can make much bigger and quicker steps. That’s where RPV comes in. we are a multistakeholder platform and will create events to combine all these efforts, align interest and resources towards reducing single-use plastics in Vietnam

Planète Enfants & Développement
Support For Disadvantaged Families for the Future of their Children
In the Asian and African countries where the association works, many poor families flee the countryside for the city in the hope of finding work and improving their living conditions. But the pressure is such that many end up in the suburbs of the cities, in unworthy housing conditions and with precarious day-to-day jobs. Unaware of their new environment, lacking confidence, discriminated against, most families are just surviving.
The aim of the Accompaniment of families in difficulty is to improve the living conditions of these very vulnerable populations in a sustainable way by making them actors of their own development. The social workers of Planète Enfants & Développement or its partners identify families in great difficulty and offer them personalized social assistance for 6 to 9 months.
The method consists of providing them with information and psychosocial follow-up to give them self-confidence (the basis for moving forward) and to help them solve their difficulties on their own. We create a bridge between these families and the public and private services they can turn to according to their needs (financial, health, employment, violence problems...).
